The pregnancy and baby preparations are moving right along now. With just about a month to go, the nursery is nearing completion, and all of Virginia Anne's baby clothes have been taken out of storage. Virginia Anne is very ready to assume her new role of big sister. She talks about "Baby Sister" all day long, gives Melanie's belly hugs and kisses, reads books to her, and has been practicing changing diapers and taking her dolls for walks in the stroller.
If you'd ask her, she'll tell you that Baby Sister is coming in "two weeks." If only that were true! We're savoring the last few weeks of summertime and being a family of three but also eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest Fuller.
